The Moon
THE MOOOOOOOOOON

The moon has been used by humans to count time, has inspired mythology, and has been Earth's constant companion for last 4.5 billion years. The moon is tidally locked onto Earth, meaning the same side of the moon always is facing the Earth. Our moon is the most massive natural satellite (moon) in the solar system in relation to its host. Only 12 men have been to the moon during the Apollo missions, but NASA's Artemis program plans to send men and women back to the moon by the end of the decade.
