Hey, while you're here, I'd like to tell you about the SMP boycott. An employee at St. Martin's Press (a publishing house) who works directly with book influencers posted harmful rhetoric about Palestinians, implying that their pain is fabricated.

The boycott was started by a Palestinian booktoker : Leen @vivafalastinleen on tt. She noted that she and other arab influencers didn't receive arcs nearly as often as other booktokers that were also on St. Martin's Press influencer list. Though, it must be explicitly said, this is NOT about arcs. This is about racist rhetoric and how that can influence how the employee distributes and treats arab reviewers and influencers.

This is a marketing boycott, not a consumer one. This means you can still buy the books and read them, but we ask that you refrain from reviewing or logging any SMP titles. If you are non-US based, it's not required that you withhold the titles, though it'd be greatly appreciated. A simple acknowledgment of the boycott and that you are non-US based would be enough!
