I believe each person has some unattainable dreams that they long to fulfill. And because we all know that our reality most likely won't allow us to achieve that, books are our gate to experience these dreams. So basically, read books with elements (occupation/animal/story/other aspects) that you wish you have or you wish to experience it by yourself. (Eg. If you want a dragon as a pet, you can read books with dragon in it.)
