Count how many shelves of books you have and roll dice to pick a shelf. Count the unread books on that shelf and roll again. Pick that book and read it! 

(for example, I have 10 shelves. I roll a d10 and get 8. On shelf 8 there are four unread books. I roll a d4 and get 3.  That is the book I will read)
