Mars
The Red Planet! Mars is the last of the four terrestrial planets. It is known for its red hue, which is caused by the iron oxide on its dusty surface. Mars is the only other planet that has been explored (by rovers, not humans!)
side note: we are NOT colonizing Mars anytime soon do NOT believe elon musk that man knows NOTHING
Mars has two moons, Deimos and Phobos. Phobos is destined to either crash into Mars or break up into pieces. Mars also has an atmosphere, but it's 95% carbon dioxide. The largest mountain/volcano in the Solar System is on Mars! It's Olympus Mons and it is roughly the size of France. There are currently 3 rovers living on Mars, and quite a few dead ones (rest in peace Opportunity).

Suggestions: a sci-fi set on Mars (oh there are many), a book about hypothetical life in space, a book about a creature that is little and green and maybe a man (frogs), a book about war, a book about about robots (rovers...!), a red book, a book that is smaller than your Venus choice but larger than your Mercury choice, a book where the hero has two sidekicks...
