Earth's twin sister is Venus! Venus is the second planet from the Sun and also the hottest! Nicknamed the "Morning Star", Venus is the brightest object in the night sky. Its atmosphere is extremely dense and 95% of its composition is carbon dioxide. Due to this atmosphere, Venus experiences a runaway greenhouse effect, making it hotter than Mercury. Venus's day is also longer than its year. Just like the Moon, Venus also goes through a series of phases!
