This challenge is based on Sadie "Mother Horror" Hartmann's 101 Horror Books to Read Before You're Murdered, which offers a wide range of modern selections (2000-2023) from the horror genre to dive into! 

This list says it's 101 books, so I will be keeping it at 101 books. However, there are author spotlights featured that are presented as one recommendation, but offer several. I made the executive decision to just choose one from each. I am sorry if I didn't choose the one you would have. You'll be able to find the others in my side piece challenge coming soon (I accidentally deleted it right before I finished and it pissed me off so I need a day to recover) along with the books they recommended in their spotlights.
