This year-long challenge is all about exploring LGBTQIA+ stories, your way. 

There are no rigid boxes. Read fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels... Go wild!
 

The only rule? Every book must be by an openly out LGBTQIA+ author or feature an LGBTQIA+ main character. (So no straight authors tossing in one messy queer side character just for diversity. We’re not doing that.) 

While you’re at it, aim to read books by Black and/or BIPOC authors too, because queerness is so much more diverse than the same five white books you see recommended everywhere. 

Oh, and just a heads up: it’s one book per prompt. I know, I know, we all have TBR piles taller than we are. But hey, this is a year-long challenge so...

Take your time. Have fun. Read queer. Be kind. 

P.S. If an author isn’t openly out, don’t go poking around in their personal life. It’s not cute.
