Overview
A lot of passionated readers (if not all) encounter one and the same problem; accumulating books that are patiently waiting on the shelfs to one day being read. Books that are bought because the cover is so pretty, the promt sounding to intresting or a gift from family or friends. At first „the pile of shame“ is about 10 books, but oh no at a recount it is already 30, 50, 60 BOOKS?! Well like many others my „pile of shame“ accumulated as time passed and now I am too afraid to count the books looking judgingly upon me as I come in with a newly aquired book in hand.
The goal is simple; 18 books in one year of off „the pile of shame“. But what exactly is „the pile of shame“? Well it isn‘t an exact definition but for this challenges definition it contains all books that you physically (I say physically but that doesn’t exclude books that you have on your kindle/reader) have for longer than 8 months.
There are two rules;
1) no reusing the same book for several prompts
2) DNFs count, you can put them in because they will still leave your pile (soft DNFs don‘t count because then you have the intention of coming back to it)
