You can start and finish this challenge whenever you like!

Wait! Don't scroll past this challenge, even though it sounds intimidating and sciency. It's not, trust me!

Well, it can be, if you want it to. There's a lot of room for interpretation and creativity here.
I study chemistry and I think the periodic table is really fascinating, there's a story behind each element... I'll tell you something about each element and give some suggestions what kind of books could fit that prompt, but please feel free to interpret this challenge any way you want.

Here are some ridiculous ways you could complete this challenge:
  • add a Sherlock Holmes story for each prompt, because they're all "Elementary, my dear Watson"
  • read a book from the country, where each element was discovered and prepare for a lot of Swedish books
  • read only books with titles that start with the letters of the element's symbols - good luck with Mg, Hf or Tm
  • read a chemistry book for every prompt
  • add the wikipedia article about the periodic table as a book and use it for every prompt (please don't actually do this, it drives librarians mad - thx, a librarian)
  • don't try to complete this challenge at all. Instead wait for the 119th element to be discovered

This is a work in progress as I underestimated the amount of time this would take. But I wanted this challenge to go live in time to start it in 2022...
