Cozy Mystery Reading Challenges hosts an annual reading challenge composed of 20 prompts plus bonus prompts all to be fulfilled by reading Cozy Mysteries.  2024 is the 5th annual challenge, and the prompts seek to celebrate past challenges while also incorporating traditional Cozy Mystery themes, diversity within the genre, and a broader interpretation of categories.

Per Wikipedia: Cozy mysteries, also referred to as "cozies", are a subgenre of crime fiction in which sex and violence occur off stage, the detective is an amateur sleuth, and the crime and detection take place in a small, socially intimate community. Cozies thus stand in contrast to hardboiled fiction, in which more violence and explicit sexuality are central to the plot.
