Casey McQuiston (they/them) is an author of romance novels, both in the new adult and young adult genres. 

This Louisiana-born, New York City-based author writes romantic comedies centred around queer people and queer love. Their upbringing – they attended a conservative evangelical Christian school – made them want to write books that would have made them feel less isolated as a queer teenager in a southern state. They describe themselves to be "at the intersection of fun, escapist romantic adventure and smart-mouthed characters with bad manners and big hearts".
