One read takes to another, but a book only counts if you at least liked it (3 stars), preferably loved it (4 to 5 stars). If you don't like the book you can either dnf or finish reading, but then find another one that fits the prompt and has a good chance of being an enjoyable read so the challenge can be completed. The prompts allow for a lot of freedom, so fear not. Of course you can always ignore the prompts and simply pick up books you're likely to give a high rating to (creating a personal chain with its own criteria perhaps), or even make them harder by choosing to use only the 5-star reads or the ones close to that. After all, there's no time limit.
