A list of prompts I'm using to fuel my 2022 reading habits, published publicly both to keep myself accountable and to share with anyone who wants to join in!

As we left 2021 behind, I asked myself, "What, specifically, do I want to read in 2022?" These prompts are here to serve as a reminder and keep myself on track (mostly because I forget everything that isn't written down).

I don't really feel like it should need to be said, but just in case: a more diverse and inclusive reading experience is always the goal around here. There should be no issue finding an OV author for any of these prompts. Wherever possible, books should be centered around joy rather than trauma/pain. Everyone deserves to have their stories told and everyone deserves a happy ending, too.. This will likely end up becoming a running list rather than a 2022 “challenge” as it’s mostly just specific things I want to read; I’ve already got more prompts in mind and just stuck with 24 for now so as not to overwhelm myself.
