For this challenge we have twelve categories (one for each month) and the point is to read books from authors whose identities fit the categories. Each prompt will have a few recommended authors, but you can use any author who fits the identity for the prompt. Bonus prompts will have specific combinations of two or more identities, for an extra challenge.

Because being two-spirit is specifically an Indigenous identity, that intersection is included as a bonus prompt.

Doubling up on prompts is encouraged! Some authors fit several prompts at once, so you can use them for any or all of the ones which apply.
