Started on July 7, 2024 by Qwordy. Tired of the same ol’ prompts across readathons, she developed The Hardest Reading Challenge You’ll Ever Do otherwise known as HRCYED. It’s designed to be nearly impossible to complete but the goal of HRCYED is not to complete it, the goal is to broaden your reading habits.

- No DNFS - you must complete books for them to count.
- Rereads now count after reading TEN new to you books.
- Each book may be used on any TWO prompts, regardless of main or bonus (white or purple in original challenge language).
- "I don't wanna do it" - If there is a prompt you just cannot do, you may replace it by reading 5 Indie/Selfpub Books with under 500 ratings.
