Hello and welcome to the Chronically Bookish Disability Pride Readathon!
This challenge is run mainly through the Chronically Bookish Discord server for members of my Bindery community--chronicallybookish.binderybooks.com.

- Join the community & discord in order to:
- - enter the Bingo prize raffle (international)
- - enter 2 other giveaways (US only)
- - get book recs for the "Get a Rec from the Discord" prompt
- - get access to weekly reading sprint lives
- - Help my Bindery grow towards its goal of becoming a disability-focused publishing imprint
- - Chat and join in community with fellow fantasy, romance, and disability-loving readers!
However, even if you don't wish to join the Bindery community, I completely understand, and I would love for you to follow along with this challenge here and on social media (you can find me @chronicallybookish on TikTok & YouTube and @_chronicallybookish on Instagram and Threads!). My main hope for this challenge is to promote books with disability representation, especially those by disabled authors this Disability Pride Month.
The rules of this challenge are quite simple:
- Every book used to complete a prompt must feature a disabled main character (major POV characters in multi-POV novels also work!) and have been finished by 11:59pm local time.
- While books by disabled authors are not strictly required, I strongly encourage you to read books that are lived experience or by disabled authors for this challenge.
- Each book may be used for a total of two prompts, which means it takes only two books to get Bingo, and six for a Blackout
- in order to enter your Bingo or Blackout into the raffle for a $25 USD gift card, you must join the Chronically Bookish Discord Server (you get the link by subscribing to either tier of my Bindery) and post a photo of your completed Bingo board (graphics are available in the Discord as well as on all of my social media platforms!) to the #Bingo channel by 11:59pm August 1st pacific time.
