Focusing on promoting books, both non-fiction and fiction, that look at women from different backgrounds, countries and cultures.
Each month there will be a fiction and non-fiction book to read, a Discord will be set up so those reading can have a space for discussions and thoughts.
_theinsomniaclibrary_ will be sharing some amazing charities to support during the read-a-thon, there will be some weekly
challenges, LIVEs, and giveaways.
They have aimed to make both lists of books for this read-a-thon diverse, with the main themes being feminism, community, personal growth and complex female characters.
They have aimed to make both lists of books for this read-a-thon diverse, with the main themes being feminism, community, personal growth and complex female characters.
As well as the two books picked for the month, _theinsomniaclibrary_ will also be sharing other books I'm reading or that fit the themes.
The read-a-thon begins January 1st and will continue throughout 2025, with the aim of reading 24 books together.
Books will be announced three months in advance so people have time to get a copy if they want to participate.
All formats of reading (audiobooks, ebooks, and library books) are more than welcome!
