What: an event to encourage, enjoy and share the reading of non-fiction about people alive or dead, through biography, history, autobiography, memoir, diaries, letters and similar. Anything that is about real individuals.

How: read at least one thing, in any format, long or short. Anything from graphic memoir to autobiographical poetry, from heavyweight biography to travel journal, from food memoir to picture book biography.
Prompts: use these as creatively and flexibly as you like. Or ignore them altogether, after all they are all quotations that are uncertain, apocryphal or attributed to the wrong person.
