In 2023 I did a similar challenge by someone else, I liked the challenges lack of specific women who write so I could see a more varied range (especially genre wise) that other people picked or myself especially as I tend to focus on women of color but also so I could see a challenge where a small debuting author in the 2020s who writes graphic novels might’ve in the same list as either Pulitzer winning novelist to classics like Austen or Shelley.
