Overview
The Amazing Readathon is a month-long competitive, team based readathon that is loosely based on the Amazing Race, a show where teams travel the globe in an attempt to solve the puzzles and be the first one across the finish line.
The Specifics: This readathon takes place the entire month of June. You will receive your first clue on May 31st with instructions on how to get to your first destination.
You will choose books to read based on the prompt that corresponds to the city that we are visiting. The prompts are all vague enough that you can read ANY genre and it will count. But, bonus points will be added if you read from your team’s genre.
The focus of this readathon will be the community aspect of it. We’ll be competing against the other teams, so of course there will be competition! There will also be a TON of sprints throughout the month to add to the community feel.
