This challenge is to branch out to try new authors. The challenge is a grand one as it attempts to read one book with a setting in each state and territory and one book by an author that was born in each state and territory. There can be some overlap, as Harper Lee was born in Alabama and the setting of To Kill a Mockingbird is in Alabama.
