Overview
Hi! This challenge is mainly to highlight all the books that have been challenged in the St. Tammany Parish Library System.
Books range from children's to adult, and cover a wide variety of topics. Each challenge prompt is a book that has been challenged, and the reason of why it was challenged and if it has had a decision from the Board of Control is in the description of the prompt.
The wording of the Challenges have been taken from Book Looks' "Summaries of Concern" which were used to write the majority of these challenges. Other books that Book Looks does not have a page for will have the content warnings from Storygraph Listed.
As of 9/6/24 I am using a Challenge book list that was last updated on 5/13/24 by the St. Tammany Parish Library System

**** 12/21/23 UPDATE!!!!!****
The main offender rescinded all of her challenges!!! There are still multiple books that are on this list that have outstanding challenges that other people put in, but the majority have been rescinded!!!
**** 9/6/24 update ****
Due to litigation that is happening involving the removal of board members by newly elected council members, most board meetings have been cancelled/ postponed until litigation is finished.
