There is no time limit here. Feel free to use it as a long term tracker of your fantasy exploration!
 
It's up to you entirely if you wish to use the same books in multiple genres or if you'd like to use each book only once in the challenge. For a hard mode to encourage even more exploration, you can try having a no-repeat rule for authors as well.

Note: You may notice this list has significant overlap with emmandm's fantasy sub-genres list. I highly recommend that one as well! I have a feeling we used similar sources for our sub-genres. It was missing a few subgenres I wanted in this list, but it's a great list to check out regardless!
