Magnificent Firebird Top 100 Romances of the Modern Era
59 participants (100 books)
Overview
The members of the "Fated Mates" podcast Discord - Magnificent Firebirds! - created their own Top 100 Romances of the Modern Era list. Nominations were compiled by the members of the Fated Mates Discord between July 19, 2024 and August 19, 2024 and voted on between August 24, 2024 and September 12, 2024.
[Just a couple of guidelines here: only 1 book by an author could end up on the final top 100 list and this list reflects the taste of a couple hundred readers who are serious Romance Novel Readers so this list isn't a comment on anyone's taste and if a favorite isn't here that's not any sort of criticism of authors or readers.]
This "challenge" list is really just an overall "have I read this?" or "do I need to read this?" list so there's no start or end date or no competition to be a "completist." You do you <3 (Trust me, there's at least two books on this list I will probably never start or finish.)
Super big <3 <3 <3 and hugs to @BookIttoClarence on the Discord who did all the compiling and math and formatting for us in the many Google Docs. This spreadsheet nerd salutes you!!!! (And I've put those lovely notes about votes and also-ran-titles in the comments for us <3. A checkmark ✓ after the title indicates the title would have also made the Top 100 if multiple titles by an author were allowed.)
