Overview

Inktober is an art challenge, mostly on Instagram but also anywhere else on the internet. The idea is to draw with ink throughout the whole October, although some also join digitally. There's an official prompt list by @inktober on Instagram or their website https://inktober.com, but since it's so popular, a lot of artists create their own, and the number of lists only increases per year.

Last year, I managed to draw something for every day, having 31 drawings in the end. Since I didn't get an idea for every prompt from the official list, I decided to use other lists as well or even combine some. In the end, I used around 30 different lists.

For the StoryGraph challenge:
  • The prompts are the same as I used for the drawings I made last year.
  • Some days have more than one prompt. You can combine them or only take one of them.
  • It's very free for interpretation. You can use them as things to be found on the cover, in the title, or in the story. Maybe also the author. As long as it has something to do with the book, it counts!
  • There's no limit per books to be added to a prompt. You can also add a book to more than one prompt, or make it a challenge to have 31 books in the end. Your choice.
  • You can still join after October, but preferably only add books you've also read or started in October.

If interested in seeing the prompt lists I've taken the prompts from, I've added a screenshot of the list in every post in the last slide. The 31 posts can be found in my "Inktober 2022" highlight on my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/movieandmix/
