Overview
Welcome to the 2021 LGBTQ+ Book Bingo challenge! This challenge works best as a visual experience, since it is a bingo card style challenge, but I wanted to make it available here in Storygraph as well. I have posted the bingo cards on Instagram (I'm PopCultureLiterary) and on Litsy (I'm KenyaZero) under #LGBTQ2021.
Throughout 2021, read books that meet the prompts on the card, and mark them off to get bingos throughout the year. The end goal is as many bingos as possible, or a full blackout! You can also leave out the visual component and just complete the propmts here on Storygraph! I labeled each propmt according to what column (B being 1, I being 2, etc) and which row it fell under in that column (B1 being the first space on a bingo card, B2 being under B1 in the column, and I1 being next to B1 in the top row).
The books you include should be by LGBTQ+ authors or about LGBTQ+ characters. Don't use one book for multiple prompts (but it's ok if you used it to fill prompts in other challenges). For the "free space", any LGBTQ+ book counts.
Happy reading!
