- Visit our Donorbox Campaign Page and make a contribution to help us reach our fundraising goal. Your donation will directly benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Louisiana.
- We have created a Bookshop account with the books of all the Essence Authors so that readers can purchase the books. 100% of the proceeds collected from donations and book purchases made via Bookshop will be presented by Essence to Boys and Girls Club of Metro Louisiana with the designated recipient as the New Orleans locations to support their literary efforts.
Take the pledge to support this literacy initiative. Then participate by selecting books to read from the catalog of books written by authors participating in our author programming during this year’s ESSENCE Festival of Culture. We aligned the ESSENCE Fest Giveback Read-a-thon prompts with the ESSENCE Festival of Culture panels.
