Starts: Friday, 01 January 2021

Ends: Friday, 31 December 2021

Based on @marthabethanreads "Make Your Schelves Inlusive Readathon" and @the_literarylinguist's February Readathon, the goal is to read more inclusive books this year!

Challenge prompts

1. An LGBTQ+ Book (96 books added)

Read a book that includes main characters who are in the Queer Comunity.

2. A book with a Trans Character (41 books added)

Read a book with a main character who is transgender, nonbinary, genderfluid

3. An Own Voices novel (88 books added)

Own Voices means a book with a marginalized character written by someone who shares that identity: maybe a queer story by a queer author, or a Jewish story by a Jewish author.

5. A Romance by BIPOC author (34 books added)

8. A Classic by a BIPOC author (19 books added)

Things deemed "Classic Works" are usually written by white men, try challenging that.

9. Fantasy book by a BIPOC author (36 books added)

A Feminist Book (39 books added)

A mystery/thriller by a BIPOC author (18 books added)

A feel good book (33 books added)

After the stressful year of 2020, read a book that makes you feel good. Maybe reread an old favorite?
