Track your progress through a truly epic, modern space opera, the Red Rising Saga by Pierce Brown.
Start with the original Red Rising Trilogy, consisting of Red Rising, Golden Son, and Morning Star. This first trilogy is a complete story and can stand alone without the expansion series.
After the first trilogy you can read the prequel graphic novel series, Sons of Ares. Available in three volumes of collected editions. These are added as bonus prompts as they are not necessary reading to continue the Red Rising Saga.
The main story continues with a quadrilogy picking up 10 years after the events of the original trilogy. This continuation follows many of the same characters but also adds a few new POVs into the mix. The Iron Gold Tetralogy consists of Iron Gold, Dark Age, Light Bringer and Red God.
Red God has an estimated release of 2024.
I highly recommend the audiobooks. Tim Gerald Reynolds is the perfect narrator for this intense and emotional story. In the follow-up tetralogy, Iron Gold and Dark Age, they add in a couple additional narrators for the other POVs. I wasn't a fan of this change but at least it goes back to solo TGR for Light Bringer.
