⭐️ Reading more diversely is one of your reading goals for 2025
⭐️ You are a mood reader - our prompts are flexible and in many cases, open to interpretation. The prompts won’t pigeon-hole you into reading very specific subgenres or themes. When the prompts do suggest a subgenre, a broader alternative is also offered :D
⭐️ You like games of chance - for those interested, there is an optional prompt weather card picker created by our awesome and talented mod, Alia. Let David the Cat decide your next challenge prompt 😸

1) Set a challenge goal - there are 5 weather themed cards and each has 10 flexible prompts, but that doesn't mean your challenge goal needs to be 50 books! You're welcome to join with as little as 5 read/prompts, whatever works for you :D
You can also find the list of prompts HERE for your convenience.
2) Choose your prompts - either manually select the prompts that most interest you, or leave it to chance and let David the Cat select for you. You can also either pick and read as you go, or plan your reads by selecting your full sequence in advance.
3) Track & Share Your Progress - if you want HERE you can share which weather card prompts you’ve selected (or David the Cat selected for you) and which books you are considering for each prompt. The more books and authors we each share, the more inspiration they'll be for everyone participating :D

Worlds Beyond the Margins is a group that celebrates authors who have historically been on the margins of mainstream Western (english speaking) Publishing.
We focus on "marginalized" representation (both the authors and their fictional characters): Racialized people and communities, LGBTQIA+, Disability, Chronic Illness, Neurodiversity, Mental Health and Fat Positivity. Your picks for this challenge should reflect this, but we are not policing anyone!
