The whole point of this challenge is to make sure I diversify my reading. This challenge is meant to remind me that the sis-white narrative is not the only one, and doesn't matter more than that of others. 
My overall 2024 reading challenge is 52 books. Therefore, I aim for at least 25 of the books I read this year to be by diverse authors. That includes BIPOC authors, LGTBQIA+ authors, disabled authors, neurodivergent authors, etc.
