Overview
We’ve decided to shake things up this year to only include 12 prompts, including our One World One Book pick for 2023. This will allow more flexibility while also staying true to what it means to be part of the GGI community!
If you have any questions regarding the prompts, whether you need clarity or even need book recommendations, feel free to ask. See our Facebook group for extra resources and links!
RULES:
- Readers will read one book per prompt in the Reading Challenge. *Note that there is no pressure to read a separate book per prompt, or to complete the entire list. The rules are meant to be flexible. This is YOUR challenge. Readers could even choose one book that meets multiple prompts, or focus only on one of the lists. It’s up to you!
- The goal of the prompts are to get you out of your comfort zone by reading from a genre, or by an author, or set in a place that is not often found amongst your usual TBR pile. The challenge should encourage reading quality novels with various genres, writers, places, and topics important to what GGI represents for each of us.
- Have fun! Share your progress and ideas for books that fit each topic with fellow GGIs. Discuss your progress with your GGI Book Club members. Remember to tag GGI on Instagram and Facebook with #2023GGIGlobalReadingChallenge
