There is a surge of Unhinged Women™ in the literary world right now (which, apparently, is a genre ominously called "psychological fiction"), and I'm totally here for it. The goal here is to become the main character, and we're going to do this by learning from a list of horror-thriller literary fiction with weird to borderline insane female protagonists. Do also prepare some food, since it seems to be a pretty popular motif here.
