Overview

A readathon all about climate change and the fight against it. To raise more awareness for nature, ecosystems and how we can fight against the current emergency, this readathon is here to broaden your horizon and challenge you to read more about nature and solutions. Perfect to be combined with the Bloomin' readathon and Nonfiction November.

Rules:
The books you read need to connect to the climate crisis in some way.
While non-fiction is the best source for this readathon, all genres and book lengths are allowed!
It is possible to double up on prompts.
The prompts, teams and the group book are 100% optional but we are excited if you do them.
The only true rule is to read about nature and/or the climate crisis as much as possible.

There are three teams: TEAM WATER, TEAM EARTH & TEAM HUMAN with 3 prompts each. You can choose a team if you like or treat it like a bingo board with a total of 9 prompts, depending on how fast you read or which challenges appeal to you.
Unfortunately, teams are not an option here on Storygraph, which is why all 9 prompts are mandatory main prompts on this page.

The group book is "All We Can Save" by Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Dr. Katharine Wilkinson.

Bonus prompts: Besides the group book there are 2 non-reading bonus prompts. One is to post on social media, the other is to watch a documentary
