It is always important to consume a wide variety of perspectives in order to form an educated opinion of your own, particularly when it comes to geopolitical issues with humanitarian implications. The goal of this challenge is to help me, and hopefully others, step outside of "our bubble" and interact with perspectives that we normally wouldn't consider, agree with, or might even avoid entirely. Even if you don't come away from reading viewpoints that oppose your own having agreed with points that were made, it's still important to be familiar with "what you're up against".
