Graphic novels are only a stepping stone to learning about certain cultures or countries’ histories, but they can bring a story to life in a more engaging and accessible format than regular text novels.
Graphic novels are only a stepping stone to learning about certain cultures or countries’ histories, but they can bring a story to life in a more engaging and accessible format than regular text novels.
The only rules are:
- It must be set in that country and/or the writer is from there.
- It must be a graphic novel/comic/manga.
It can be in any genre, fiction or non-fiction, and it can be about the historical or modern-day version of that country.
Notes:
- 197 countries are listed in this challenge and sorted in alphabetical order.
- There are a lot of countries in the world and realistically might be hard to find a graphic novel for every single one, especially the smaller ones, so feel free to skip any you’d like.
- This challenge has no time limit. Just have fun!
