We read Another Country by James Baldwin in 2020 for an episodes of the Another Book on the Shelf podcast and were blown away. Baldwin is a writer that we had never experienced before and his prose has stuck with us since. 

The goal will be to read all of Baldwin's work and adjacent works by other authors with similar styles and subject matter.
