Overview
Hello all, and welcome to our 2025 bingo! We have put together this Bingo as a way to build our community, champion lesser-known books, and try to diversify our reading this year. The goal: To read at least 15 books this year, one book per category. The prizes:
- Every member who completes the Bingo board (as confirmed by the moderation team) will get a special role color for 2026 that will be voted for by all of those who completed the Bingo.
- Every member who completes the Bingo board (as confirmed by the moderation team) will be entered into a raffle to win at least 1 prize (TBC).
- The chance to find a hidden gem
How it works: You can find the Bingo board attached below.
- Everyone who wants to participate can do so, without needing to sign up for it.
- To be able to confirm participation, you must post a review, of at least 100 words, for every book you want to count towards the bingo. The review must include what category the book counts for (and why), as well as your thoughts on it.
- Each book can only count towards one category.
- There is no genre requirement: fantasy, scifi, non fiction... Every genre counts.
- For a book to count it must be started after or on January 1st, 2025 and finished by December 31st, 2025.
- You can find further explanations for every category down below. If any doubts arise, please DM or tag me (@gazi) for clarification. The moderation team reserves the right to make any final calls about any member's participation, including requesting further proof of reading.
- At the end of the year, we will ask that you post, in a thread created for this purpose, a link to every review and the proof that it fits the category selected. We will verify every entry and handle the role and raffle, and prizes will be awarded by January 31st, 2026.
