Welcome to the Spirit’s Eve Festival Reading Challenge!
Celebrate the spooky season with a Halloween-themed reading bingo. Traverse haunted mazes, encounter eerie creatures, and hunt for the coveted Golden Pumpkin. Each book you read helps you make your way through the festival — how many bingos can you get?
For this month, our bingo board includes 7 activity based prompts. You will only have access to to these on the Discord server.

How it Works
- Download or Screenshot our 5 x 5 Bingo Board found in our Discord.
- Each square is completed by reading one book that fits the prompt. We also have fun activity prompts that are highlighted in Orange.
- Your goal is to score a double bingo to claim the golden pumpkin.
Rules
- Only 1 book per prompt
- Challenge runs from October 1st to October 31st.
- If you participated in a prior month’s readathon and earned a reward, you can use it during this challenge. We will not be rewarding any “prompt” related bonuses this month.
- DNFs and books started before the month are allowed as long as 50% is read during the month. Books must be at least 100 pages!
FAQs
- FAQ - How many books do I need to read to receive a reward? This will vary depending on the type of bingos you achieve. You could do a 4 corner and straight line, diagonal, postage stamp, etc.
- FAQ - Can books read for one square count towards another? Unfortunately, with how we have set up this readathon, you can only read 1 book for 1 prompt.
- FAQ - Do I have to fill the whole bingo board? Nope! The main goal is to achieve two bingos on the board to receive your reward.
Rewards
Golden Pumpkin - Earns you 1 free prompt skip for next month.
This is tracked by you and we go by the honor system.
