How to Talk to Girls At Parties: The Graphic Novel by Neil Gaiman

5.0

This is a fantastic adaptation. I'm glad I picked this up this year. The art is appropriately beautiful and eerie. The story gives enough hints to draw satisfying conclusions but leaves many things left unsaid.

I've heard this is going to be adapted to the screen soon - I think that will be an utter failure. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's not, but not every successful bit of writing needs to live on in every medium or more specifically be adapted to film/tv. The best bits of this are things that can't be replicated in film.

READ IT. Read this comic adaptation, if you must have pictures. The pictures are good.
