For One More Day by Mitch Albom

3.0

For One More Day is a quick and heartwarming read that should, hopefully, make everyone appreciate their mothers more.

I just don't know why this didn't work for me as I hoped it would be. I mean, it's okay. I don't regret reading this. Really, it's okay. But I kinda expected more. There were some parts of the book that hit home to me but overall, the book is... forgettable.

Maybe the book was too short that the events and emotions were not properly fleshed out (well, at least for me).

Maybe I felt like it strictly followed a formula to make the readers cry.

Maybe it's just not for me.
