I can't believe I'm writing this, but I loved this book even more than the first one. It had the perfect amount of yearning, angst, and sweetness that kept me hooked the whole way through.
The reasons why there were secrets felt completely understandable and realistic. Usually when characters keep things from each other, I find myself impatiently waiting for the big reveal. This time however, I felt the same conflicting thoughts running through Sori's mind.
My only complaint was that I wanted more of Nathaniel. The book was mainly focused on Sori's struggle with her future goals, and Nathaniel often felt like a side character just present to support her. He was my favourite member of XOXO even in the first book (sorry, Jaewoo!) and I wished I could have learned more about him.
Sori and Nathaniel have all my love, and I'm so glad that their story was beautifully told. This was all I wanted and more.
