I loved the series. Absolutely loved it, and it was my obsessing for months. But then, i read this last one, and i didn't need to see halts home in ruins, and i didn't want to find them dead, and i don't care i didn't want to know how rangers' horses never seemed to age. I didn't like this. I found it unnecessary and harsh.
