Tisaanah might be my favorite new FMC! This series has been on my TBR for awhile and I was immediately hooked! Tisaanah has so much strength of character. She refuses to be broken, despite all that has been taken from her. She chooses to find joy in the world and people around her, even though people have let her down most of her life. Where she is weak, she is eager to learn. Whether she believes she has the ability to do something or not, she will do it because it is necessary and right.

There's a bit of grumpy/sunshine if you like that. I thought it was cute.

10/10 for me.
