The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion

3.0

The Rosie Effect wasn't as lighthearted as The Rosie Project which, to be honest, I enjoyed. Don's narration is interesting and I don't feel the book was of a lesser quality than its predecessor which many reviews seem to indicate. It's nice to see how the characters tackle trickier issues. Yes, some points were repetitive, but then again, repetition is something that's a part of Don's preferred way of living and not all that surprising. I didn't find either book particularly funny to a "laugh out loud" level but they're still entertaining and perfect for summer reading.
