It kills me to say that this was a disappointment for me. I expected to absolutely love this and for this to be a 4,5-5 ⭐️ book. And it honestly breaks my heart that it’s not 😭

This started of really strong, I was so excited for this book and the beginning had me hooked 

I absolutely loved the first 50%, I was invested and I had so many questions I needed answers to

But after a while it just reminded me too much of the truths & lies duet. The vibes in this book were completely different than the rest of the legacy of gods series and while some people might love that, I sadly didn’t. I still really enjoyed this book but it just didn’t give me what I wanted it to 

I think if I didn’t have such a big emotional attachment to this series in general and I read it as a standalone this would only be around 3 stars tbh

There were a few things I hated and there were a few things I absolutely adored so rating this book is kind of hard and I might change the rating in the future

But I can definitely say that it’s my least favourite with God of Pain out of this series, which I’m kind of sad about because I was so so excited for this book 

I also hated that Ava was a virgin. That was so incredibly unnecessary. I didn’t love it in the rest of this series but here it reaaaally bothered me because it was so dumb
