I’ve been reading cheesy romance novels from old guilty pleasure authors for the nostalgia. Unfortunately every time I read a bit of Rachel Gibson I am reminded her books are chock full of internalized misogyny. There are zero good or relatable women characters. If you want to bang your head against a window every time a “female” enters the scene this book is for you. Easy to read on a plane though.
