Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky

5.0

Somehow so specific to its time and place and yet timeless. Dostoyevsky always blows me away with his insight into human nature. Crime and Punishment disturbs and comforts. It is unsettling how awful and yet how relatable Rodya, the protagonist, is. For me, this book was harder to put down than any Dostoyevsky book I've read before. This book deserves its status as a classic.
