I enjoyed this book far more than I expected. The heroine, Julia, finds her husband, Edward, dying at the beginning of the book. Some think it was natural death, but others are convinced its murder and Julia is determined to find out the truth. She develops a tense relationship with Nicholas Brisbane who assists her in investigating.
Lots of tension and intrigue. I hope to read more of this series. 4/5 on my romance scale.
